On the Trail

November 2025

We are so grateful for all the Groups and LDs that hosted us this month. We made many stops in the Valley, stopped in Tanque Verde, had donuts up in Payson, joined the AJ Dems for the Apache Junction Veterans Day Parade, and enjoyed my first online coffee meetup. And with everything happening with the Govt. shutdown, we wanted to help so we volunteered at the Superior Food Bank and served Thanksgiving Dinner with St. Vincent de Paul in Phoenix.

Two events in one day! It was a pleasure to meet the Green Valley Democrats. We are grateful to them for reaching out early in our campaign and inviting me to speak. That evening we joined LD18 Dems for their Board Games for Democracy and tried our hands at Yahtzee and Apples to Apples. Fun idea and fun times!

Wonderful visit with the Gila County Dems at their Ice Cream Social on July 12. Met the Secretary of State, Adrian Fontes and Dr. Terri Ruiz, candidate for Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction, and the wonderful people of Gila County. Grateful for their time, the opportunity to share about my candidacy, the signatures, and of course... the ice cream!

October 2025

October saw us visiting some of the beautiful rural areas of Arizona. The campaign took us to the Graham County Fair, Greenlee County, Maricopa, and as a PC we attended the Copper Corridor Tour which took us to Superior and San Manuel. We canvassed in Casa Grande, did a road clean up in Phoenix, and met wonderful people in Scottsdale, Surprise, Saddlebrook, Gold Canyon, Tucson and throughout the Valley!

August 29-30, 2025

It's been a long time since I was at a real county fair! We had a great time at the Coconino County Fair with the Coconino County Dems! Their leaders and volunteers are amazing! We were honored to meet the Mayor of Flagstaff and so many wonderful local Democrats! And even a couple of goats and sheep. So much fun!

July 13, 2025

We joined the Yavapai County Dems at their annual picnic on July 13. Warm weather, hot dogs, cool drinks, and a friendly crowd made for a great event. We saw Dr. Ruiz once again and met Jay Ruby, who's running for Prescott City Council. So grateful for the homemade treats, the speaking opportunity, the signatures, and conversations.

The AJ Dems hosted a few events on July 17th - a national day of action in honor of the late John Lewis. My wife and I joined them for their Happy Hour that evening. We met some new people, collected signatures and had a really good time talking with everyone and answering questions about myself, my qualifications, and...
